It's been a long time for this weight loss blog, but here I am in all my glory. Still overnight, but I have lost 20 pounds in the last 3 months. So I'm getting there, but very slowly.
Latest diet that I have tried HCG drops. I bought them online at http://www.hcg1234.com/. Over labor day weekend I went to a pool party and was talking to a woman from Baton Rouge. She told me she owned a diet center and she promoted the HCG drops with a weight plan, vitamins, etc. Then she told me that she lost 40 pounds in 6 weeks with these HCG drops. WOW! Next thing I know, the woman across from me said she lost 40 pounds in 6 weeks from these drops as well (drops go under the tongue)-they don't know each other. So I had to try them-I thought I can do anything for six weeks. Well, I can do anything for 10 days, but that's my time limit and I did lose 10 pounds, which I've kept off.
It's hard living in Las Vegas and socializing the way I do. When I'm at work, it's easier to stick to a diet, because I have to provide all my own food (I'm an aging flight attendant, with a domestic discount airline out of Atlanta). But I do like my 1-2 glasses of red wine at night, especially when I'm home. So this week, before the advent of a new selected diet, I am just cutting back on food to maintain and to get my appetite once again under control.
I do though recommend the HCG drops. Once it gets in your system, even though the food is limited (only 500 calories a day), it really does work. So if you have 6 weeks of will-power in you-this is a very effective and healthy (?) way to diet.
I read a book, that is available for sale, if anyone is interested. $1.99, plus $2.99 shipping & handling. Actually, I have many weight loss books for sale, so if you are interested, I will send my private address to you, for you to send a check for purchase. This book is called Numbers by Jean Simpson. Printed in 1990, the author had also written best-sellers Hot Numbers & and Hot Lotto Numbers. This book is based on your personal numbers-with your date of birth and the date of diet. Then from there, it's 1000-1200 calories a day. But the recipes are very good, I have copied many for my own use. So maybe this book is for you. So worth it for the recipes-definitely!
